Not too stressful Hmmmm

We put up the south wall today and I must say it was pretty nerve wracking.  The centre must be 24 feet high and the wall was built fairly skinny on the outside edges.  Bringing it around from the neighbours was interesting as it hung out more than what was on the deck of the truck.  We used the truck crane to put this one up and the rest on that side. We lifted it straight up after it was hanging from the crane and gingerly set it into place.  It looks great but I don't want to play in that sandbox no more.  We are picking up more scaffolding tomorrow and contacting the crane guy for erection, next Tuesday morning, of the Timber frames. We hope to have everything figured out and set up for him by the end of Monday.  We had a thunder storm roll through just as we were finishing the last south wall.  Big panic to get lots of bracing on but the storm passed by with about 10 minutes of rain.  Hopefully not to many fires from the lightning.

Lots of windows
Still smoky here and water on the floor.
The view coming up the driveway

Spent the last part of the day uncrating the garage walls and preparing the area for our next load due tomorrow morning. This one has trusses and timber frame beams and posts so the scheduling is pretty good since we had to change from shop first to house first. Nothing to serious has held us up in the build.

The piles are disappearing from Alesandros next door
We will be setting the trusses aside near these shop trusses as we will need all the room we can get at the top for maneuvering with the timber frames.  Stay tuned, same bat station same bat channel
