More tall walls

We've taken on a big challenge here and come up with a pretty good solution.  We lift the walls vertical using Joe's Hy-ab and then with a couple of come-alongs we secure it to the large scaffold. Then we wheel it into position and tie it to another wall.  A couple of braces to the floor and the job is complete. Sounds simple but scary nonetheless.

We will be attempting the south windowed wall tomorrow, probably the most nerve wracking of all of them.  I see that they were built in smaller sections so that should help out.   It is nice to look out the dining room window at the view we will enjoy.

The view from the motorhome is changing quickly.

We had to set aside the walls for the North side as we will need them off to do the timberframes.

More tomorrow

  1. Nothing like boundaries to help make spaces - cool that you have so much engineering in your project - can't wait to see the timbers (my favorite).
