Friday of the long weekend and our work crew is here, Mom and Dad Hawkins and Dave and Doris Hawkins. First things first and we try a new drink. Blueberries in the bottom with lemonade, cider and 2 kinds of rum. Yummy.
Next of course we must eat. A very nice evening for a weenee bake. Lots of stories, I especially liked number 23, one of the many repeated and loved tales of this clan.
The roasting sticks were highly technical but nobody starved. A special bottle of wine was brought for the occasion. They said it was for roast. (Wiener roast?)
Off to bed for some pre slave sleep.
