Straw and mud, the pyramid takes shape.

The project for the weekend was to be the covering of the foam foundation with siding, however, this crew works so efficiently that I had to give them extra tasks.

The initial setup for the start of the siding
I was the official cutter so I was the only one who got to wear the keen face garb

One of the tasks worked on was the leveling of all the topsoil that I placed a couple of weeks earlier
Lots of experience in this crew

Dig a hole and put your body in it. Sounds kinda relaxin' don't it.

The other task undertaken was the splitting of a mountain of firewood along the driveway. Here again, a very experienced crew.

Note the new model of splitter in action
We are hoping to finish the siding and cover all of the foam this weekend. Good progress so far.

Not only good work but great company as well.
The work is done for today and a well deserved rest for all.  Cathryn was our chief cook and she took her job very seriously. Great meals all round.  We will finish up the siding tomorrow and maybe get the posts up as well.
