Cath came up late Friday evening for the weekend. Mom and Dad Hawkins brought back the RV on Saturday. They really enjoyed the Kimberly Accordian Festival and the trip. They are leaving for home today, Dad's neck seized up and so Mom will drive.
This is way up there, not my favourite
Cath taped up the corners of the blocks. In doing so, she had to overcome some fear of ladders and heights. She is not a natural mountain goat like Len. She was very proud of herself, coming down after all that climbing without incident when she tripped on a couple of stakes in the ground and fell. Mostly hurt pride and a nice purple bruise on one leg.
Len has bucked up the door and windows, put on strapping, foamed some last bits and cut down the garage door side by 6 inches. This meant removing all the rebar on one layer of that side. He left the joy of cutting and fitting more rebar to match the new dimensions until today (Sunday).
