Hi Folks.
Time sure flies when you're having fun! We are a little behind on the blog, but you must be getting used to that by now.
For the third week of April, the goal was to have the guest quarters above the garage ready for Linda and Barry who were coming on that Friday. That meant trim, doors, and finishing touches to the bathroom.

Trim, trim and more trim in the garage to be painted |
Windows done |
Yes, back into messy-mode again |
Baseboards done too |
To do our plans for accent tiles in the bathroom, Len had to invent a way to hold them up while they glued. He used wood to support them, and also used them as guides for straight and true.

Clever supports |
Tiles in place |
The finished project - minus the grout |
The bathroom ready for guests |
On the last day, at 10 pm, Len was gluing down the last of the stair tread carpeting.
Glue and then stapled |
Completed stairway |
It was great to have the loft cleaned up and ready to go. All in the nick of time.
Cath
Nice touch with the tile and the 3 piece layup for the stair rail! Missed the episode where you finished the garage drywall.
